AFRICA 

Angola: Increase in cholera, select safe food and water, consider vaccination 

Burkina Faso: Measles outbreak, ensure vaccination is up to date 

Chad: Increase in meningitis, vaccination recommended, follow strict hygiene measures 

Congo (DRC): Ebola outbreak, avoid the region. Cholera outbreak, select safe food and water, consider vaccination. Measles outbreaks, ensure vaccination is up to date. 

Ethiopia: Polio detected, booster recommended, carry proof of vaccination 

Kenya: Anthrax outbreaks in Meru and Vihiga counties, avoid contact with animals 

Liberia: Ongoing measles infections, check vaccination status 

Madagascar: Mpox outbreak, avoid contact with sick people 

Malawi: Cholera outbreak, select safe food and water, consider vaccination. Increasing measles infections, check vaccination status. 

Mayotte (France): Chikungunya outbreak, avoid mosquito bites 

Mozambique: Ongoing measles infections, check vaccination status 

Nigeria: Meningococcal meningitis in Sokoto state, vaccination recommended, seek medical attention if symptoms appear 

Sierra Leone: Measles outbreak, ensure vaccination is up to date 

Somalia: Ongoing diphtheria outbreak, ensure vaccination is up to date. Ongoing measles outbreak, check vaccination status. 

AMERICA 

Bolivia: Medical supplies shortages in hospitals of La Paz department, monitor developments, consider deferring non-essential travel to affected areas. Yellow fever risk in Cordillera province (Santa Cruz department), vaccination recommended, avoid mosquito bites. 

Canada: Hantavirus linked to cruise ship, Canadian passengers repatriated to British Columbia, monitor developments. Hepatitis A increasing in Manitoba province, vaccination recommended, pay attention to hygiene. 

French Guiana (France): Chikungunya outbreak, avoid mosquito bites 

Guatemala: Ongoing measles outbreak, ensure vaccination is up to date 

Haiti: Diphtheria outbreak, ensure vaccination is up to date 

Martinique (France): Increase in dengue, avoid mosquito bites 

Peru: Measles outbreak in Puno department, ensure vaccination is up to date 

United States: Human infection with swine-origin influenza variant in Nebraska state, avoid contact with pigs, follow hygiene measures. Measles outbreak in Buckingham county (Virginia state), check vaccination status. 

Afghanistan: Increase in Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever, avoid tick bites, follow hygiene measures 

Australia: Murray Valley encephalitis in Northern Territory, avoid mosquito bites. Poliovirus detected in wastewater sample in Perth (Western Australia state), ensure vaccination is up to date. Prolonged Japanese encephalitis risk in NSW and Victoria states, avoid mosquito bites, consider vaccination. 

China: Bird flu infections detected, avoid contact with birds, follow hygiene measures 

India: Primary amoebic meningoencephalitis in Kerala state, avoid fresh water bodies 

Japan: Ongoing measles activity in several prefectures, ensure vaccination is up to date 

Malaysia: Increase in dengue infections, avoid mosquito bites 

Maldives: Increase in dengue, avoid mosquito bites 

Micronesia: Increase in diarrhoeal infections in Chuuk and Yap states, select safe food and water 

New Caledonia (France): Ongoing dengue activity, avoid mosquito bites. Increase in leptospirosis infections, avoid contact with contaminated water. 

Pakistan: Increased heat, minimise exposure, stay well hydrated 

Philippines: Increased heat, minimise exposure and stay well hydrated 

Thailand: Melioidosis reported in north-eastern provinces, avoid contact with contaminated water 

Tonga: Dengue outbreak, avoid mosquito bites 

Vanuatu: Increased risk of ciguatera fish poisoning, avoid eating reef fish 

Vietnam: Increased dengue activity, avoid mosquito bites. Increasing hand, foot and mouth disease, pay attention to hygiene. 

Wallis and Futuna (France): Increase in dengue infections in Futuna island, avoid mosquito bites 

Bulgaria: Increase in measles, ensure vaccination is up to date 

Czech Republic: Ongoing hepatitis A transmission, vaccination recommended, pay attention to hygiene 

France: Hantavirus linked to cruise ship, French citizens repatriated to Paris, monitor developments 

Italy: West Nile virus in Sardinia autonomous region, avoid mosquito bites 

Netherlands: Hantavirus linked to cruise ship, monitor developments 

Spain: Hantavirus linked to cruise ship, Spanish passengers repatriated to Madrid, monitor developments 

United Kingdom: Invasive meningococcal disease identified in Reading, seek medical attention if symptoms develop
